Lisa is a phenomenal teacher, mentor, and human being. I met Lisa while attending an improv class that was held at her theatre and taught by the equally incredible Mark Beltzman. I’m a professional actor and had always been
weary of doing standup, but Lisa said I should give her class a try anyway, so I did! Lisa was extremely sensitive to her students needs as performers. We had all levels in my class from complete novices to seasoned actors, and she was able to deftly pull the brilliance and character from each of us in a way that was completely unexpected and hugely empowering. Standup comedy was one of my
biggest fears, but thanks to Lisa and Oh My Ribs, it has become one of top items checked off my bucket list. Lisa seriously rocks!
